Questions with a commercial purpose

We plan content around what a customer needs to understand before taking the next step. That could be a product specification, the information needed for a quote or the difference between two service options.

A Wyoming supplier reaching buyers beyond the state needs clear shipping and specification information. A business traveling to customers needs accurate coverage and preparation details. The writing should follow those decisions instead of repeating broad advice that could sit on any website.

A client's view of working with the team

We used the service for five client campaigns. The outreach placements, consistent links and clear communication held up across all of them.

A content-led software campaign

Washington B2B project management software · Open Range + content writing · January 2023 to January 2025

Read the full software case

The software business faced stagnant organic growth in a market with dominant competitors. The two-year campaign developed content around high-intent opportunities those competitors had overlooked, supported by programmatic content.

The published case records a 1200% increase in monthly demo sign-ups, with daily examples moving from 10 to more than 120. Organic traffic grew 800%, and high-conversion keywords reached the top three.

The source presents a monthly growth figure alongside daily examples; we keep those labels rather than calculating a replacement percentage. The useful planning lesson is the focus on a specific buying intent. Your own topic plan needs to follow your offer, audience and evidence.

Build the brief before filling the calendar

We begin with the service or product being promoted, the intended reader and the page the article should support. Your questions from real inquiries help identify the information that is missing. A clear purpose for each topic keeps neighboring articles from answering the same question repeatedly.

Next comes the source material. Approved specifications, service boundaries, prices and project details give the writer something dependable to explain. If a fact is unresolved, it remains a question for the business rather than becoming a confident claim in the draft.

Each article should give a direct answer, explain the relevant detail and offer a next step that matches the reader's stage. A planning guide may lead to a service explanation; a product comparison may lead to a suitability discussion. Links should help the customer continue the decision.

Plan the first useful topics

Review happens before publication. The business checks its commitments and any specialist claims, while the writing pass checks clarity, consistency and useful structure. Naming a reviewer at the start makes it easier to keep a monthly plan moving without letting uncertain facts slip through.

Existing pages deserve attention too. A new article should not contradict an old service description or direct a reader toward an unavailable offer. We connect the topic plan with local search priorities and the website's route to an inquiry, keeping those service scopes clear.

The team's SEO experience dates to 2009. That experience informs the planning process, while your knowledge of the business supplies the facts that make the writing specific. A large publishing schedule cannot substitute for either.

Choosing and reviewing your writing plan

How are the writing plans priced?

Writing is a monthly plan, priced by the number and length of articles. Four articles cost $26 at 500 words each, $44 at 1,000 words or $88 at 2,500 words. The full matrix above includes eight, sixteen and thirty articles a month. These are monthly plan amounts, not per-article prices.

How do I choose the article length?

Choose the space the question needs. A focused explanation may fit a shorter article; a comparison or detailed buying guide may need more room. Length alone does not establish quality or ranking potential. We begin with the intended reader, the decision and the approved source information so the plan supports useful topics.

Will the articles guarantee traffic or leads?

No. Useful writing can support discovery and help buyers understand an offer, but search engines and customers make their own decisions. Results take time and vary by competition and starting position. We do not promise a fixed ranking, an inquiry count or placement in an AI summary as a result of publishing.

Who approves technical or business claims?

Your business confirms the service facts, specifications, prices, coverage and any details that need specialist approval. The team organizes and writes the agreed content around those facts. We use brand-level authorship until a real named author is supplied and approved, and we do not invent staff, customers or first-hand experience.

Can the writing include project examples?

Yes, when the facts and permissions support publication. Supply the verified scope, dates and results, along with any limits on customer details or images. We describe the contribution accurately. An illustrative scenario must be labeled as hypothetical, and a project photo must not suggest work or results the business did not perform.

Is writing included in an SEO package?

The monthly writing plans are a separate service. SEO package deliverables include their specified link activity, Business Profile work, citations and review-generation work. Do not read an SEO domain allowance as a new website build or an unlimited content commission. We identify the writing and campaign scope separately before you choose.

Can a small SEO plan compete alongside the content?

It depends on the target and the existing website. First Step can suit a narrow initial campaign, while a broader or crowded market may call for Open Range, Full Horizon or a custom scope. More articles do not automatically make a small campaign sufficient. The search outlook helps assess the combination.

Do you write for competing businesses?

Yes, the team may serve more than one business in the same market. Each client's data, reports and plans stay private. Your content is developed around your approved offer and customer questions. We do not promise geographic or industry exclusivity, and we do not reuse another client's confidential project material.

How do I begin, and is there a long contract?

Choose the monthly writing plan or request a search outlook if the topics are still uncertain. The selection sends a request; the payment link follows by email. Plans are month to month and can be canceled anytime. Confirm the scope, source material and review responsibilities before the first writing cycle begins.
